Day 01: Arrive Chennai ( Hotel Check in Time 1200 Noon )

Scheduled arrive Chennai Airport; meet our representative who will assist you to transfer to Hotel. After fresh up enjoy half day city tour of Chennai including Fort St. George, St. Thomas Mount, Kapaleeswar Temple and Marina Beach.

Day 02: Chennai - Full day City Tour

Take breakfast in the coffee shop of the hotel and later enjoy guided city tour of Chennai. Located on the Coromandel Coast off the Bay of Bengal, it is the 06th most populous city in India and is the major cultural, economic and educational centre. The modern city is divided into four regions; North, central, South and west. The north part of the city is primarily industrial area while south and west part of the city is mostly residential area. There are so many fascinating tourist attractions in Chennai which wait to be explored by all types of tourists. Start the sightseeing and visit St. George Fort ( closed on Friday ), built by the British East India Company in 1640AD, Government Museum, St. Thomas Mount, Kapaleeswar Temple and Marina Beach. Rest of time free at leisure.

Day 03: Chennai - Mahabalipuram ( 70 Kms, 1.5 Hrs drive )

After breakfast in the hotel depart for Mahabalipuram, located around 70kms south from the city of Chennai. It is an ancient historic town which flourished too much in the ancient time due to trade by sea port. The city was largely developed by the Pallava King Narshimhavarman in the 07th Centaury AD. The mandapa or pavilions and the rathas or shrines shaped as temple chariots were hewn from the granite rock face, while the famed Shore Temple, erected half a century later, was built from dressed stone. What makes Mamallapuram so culturally resonant are the influences it absorbs and disseminates. The Shore Temple includes many base reliefs, including one 100 ft. long and 45 ft. high, carved out of granite. The modern city of Mahabalipuram was established by the British Raj in 1827. Upon arrival check into hotel. After fresh up enjoy the sightseeing including Shore Temple, Pancha Rathas ( five Chariots ), Tiger Cave & Varaha Temples etc. Rest of time free and unwind yourself on the sandy beach of Mahabalipuram. Day 04: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry ( 120 Kms, 4 Hrs drive )

Post breakfast in the hotel depart for Pondicherry is one of the union territories of India. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations of India which showcase the systematic town planning and well planned French styled buildings. It is quite fascinating destination due to many beaches, churches and renowned Ashram etc. Upon arrival check into hotel. After fresh up start your city tour and visit the places including the famous Aurobindo Ashram; located 10 km north of Pondicherry. The ashram promotes Aurobindo’s ideas in bringing about a synthesis of Yoga and modern science, so as to unite the spirit and matter. Also visit Auroville – a unique experiment in international living and in creating a new environment where men and women of all nationalities live together in harmony. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 05: Pondicherry – Trichy – Tanjore ( 250 Kms, 5 Hrs drive )

Post breakfast at hotel drive to Tanjore. Enroute enjoy sightseeing of Trichy including Rock Fort, Sri Ranganathaswamy and Jambukeshwara Temples etc. Continue your drive for Tanjore. On arrival check into Hotel. Later the explore city which was the capital of the ancient state ruled by the Cholas. Tanjore is popular for its temples and paintings. Visit the famous Brihadeeswarar temple housing a huge Shiva lingam and a stone sculpture of the Nandi bull.

Day 06: Tanjore – Rameswaram ( 260 Kms, 5 Hrs drive )

After breakfast at hotel proceed for Rameshwarm is an important pilgrim tourist destination just equivalent to Banaras. The presiding deity here is in the form of Linga with name of Sriramanathaswamy temple. It is one of the twelve jyotirlingas.The Grandest part of the temple is the 1219m pillared corridor consisting of 3.6m high granite pillars, rich carved and well proportioned. Visit Ramanathswamy temple, Sita Kund & Rama’s bridge etc.

Day 07: Rameswaram – Madurai ( 180 Kms, 4 Hrs drive )

After breakfast drive to Madurai. On arrival check into Hotel. After fresh up explore the temple town which is a 2,600 years old famous temple town of south India. Arrive and check into the hotel. Afternoon visit the famous Meenakshi Temple, Mariamman Teppakulam ( Great Tank ) and the Palace of Tirumalai Nayak. In the evening, revisit the Meenakshi Temple for prayer ceremony.

Day 08: Madurai – Kanyakumari ( 26 0Kms, 5.5 Hrs drive )

After breakfast at hotel drive for Kanyakumari, located at the southernmost tip of the Indian Peninsula is the confluence of three large oceans such as Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean & Arabian Sea. It is one the best tourist destination in India and increasingly gaining importance due to its enchanting natural beauty and seashore. On arrival check into hotel. After fresh visit Kanyakumari Temple – dedicated to Kanyakumari, the manifestation of the universal mother as a young maiden bride, followed by Vivekananda rock memorial by ferry boat ride and Gandhi Mandapam – built to Honour one of the greatest Indian leader – Mahatma Gandhi. Evening continue drive to Kovalam.

Day 09: Kanyakumari – Kovalam ( 100 Kms, 2.5 Hrs drive )

After breakfast at hotel drive to Alleppey. On arrival check in to houseboat for a Kerala houseboat tour over the scenic backwaters. Sit back and relax at the houseboat and enjoy the scenic beauty as the boat passes through the emerald green paddy fields, refreshing natural beauty, exotic resorts and the rustic villages. More of all also enjoy the melodious twittering of the birds, scenic waterfall and sun-set from the houseboat.

Day 13: Alleppey – Periyar ( 145 Kms, 4 Hrs drive )

Morning drive to Thekkady. Throughout the journey enjoy the panoramic view of the nature with occasional waterfalls and streams. On arrival at Thekkady, check into the hotel. Later in the afternoon experience the beauty of the surrounding areas. Here you have opportunity to see varied species of birds and animals in their natural. Enjoy the boat ride in Periyar Sanctuary. Back to hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 14: Periyar – Munnar ( 120 Kms, 3 Hrs drive )

After breakfast at hotel drive to Munnar by surface driving you through the scenic pathways dotted with pepper and cardamom plantation, tea plantations and thick forests. On arrival at Munnar check into the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 15: Munnar Sightseeing

Delight in full day sightseeing tour of Munnar. Walk through the green carpet of well organized tea bushes; watch the beautiful mist and romantic green meadows, romantic view of the waterfall. Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Tea Plantation. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Day 16: Munnar – Cochin ( 120 Kms, 4 Hrs drive )

Take your breakfast at hotel and day free at leisure or own activities until drive to Cochin. Afternoon arrive Cochin and take your lunch in the local restaurant. Later start your city tour and Proceed for half day sightseeing tour to Cochin. Here visit Dutch Palace ( Closed on Friday ), Jewish Synagogue ( Closed on Friday, Saturday & Jewish holiday ) , Jews Street, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Net and the Indo-Portuguese Museum. Take your dinner in the Hotel and later scheduled transfer to airport to board the flight for your home town. Tour ends with happy memoires.
